Another reason why I use Opera instead of Firefox & IE

Quick details:

Russians hack over 8000 Italian websites.

Almost 52 THOUSAND (52,000) IE users were affected

Over 9 THOUSAND (9,000) Firefox users were affected

...

Only 15 Opera users affected. Most likely from being oblivious to what they downloaded (speculation).

I can argue for open source too. I just like to see how people react. Most of the software i develop is on JBOSS(open source)

i find that opera runs inherently slower than firefox or even safari. and IE is simply worthless.

Quarter / IE / Netscape / Mozilla/FF / Opera / Safari
Q2 2007 / 83.20% / 0.06% / 12.22% / 0.58% / 2.94%

Sum of three browsers = 61508

Percent breakdown on affected browsers:
IE % = 84.5%
FF % = 15.5%
OP % = 0.02%

That's only 3% of all Opera users (based on percentages above) affected compared to over 100% of the estimated averages for Firefox and IE. That means that EVERY person using FF or IE that accessed the sites was affected (from a scalar POV). Theres the proof.
