wht are the hours, how long would i be training, and do you have to travel cross country

Hours vary depending on seniority, but expect to work 24/7/365 at first.
Training is four weeks in Atlanta at a school, and about 2 months OJT back here.
You may have to go over the road on trains overnight , but you will be compensated well for it.
IT IS NOT a regular hours job, if you want every weekend and holiday off it's not for you!
You also have to be able to pass a "random" piss test or breathalizer any time you go to work.

You start out at 80% wages and go up 5% each year you stay ( until 100% ).
First year after you are done training you'd probably make about 35-40K.
Then as you get seniority you can hold better jobs that pay higher. It is a union job, and it has excellent medical,dental, and retirement. They also promote alot from within the ranks to other positions.

If you knew what I did for a living, you would know that I'm not going to send an application just to find out starting pay.
