Like Chris said, only I am using his point against him, those wheels are all over honda topic, why go with something that everyone has.....when you clearly state that you want something different?
he is going with something different, there is not a single Eg around here locally or even on this site withthe Track R's on it. So that would be somthing different. But there are a cpl cars runnig around with Circut 8's and circut 10's.

not a pissing contest just a observation

Well actually, there is a difference between the rotas and the actual sprint harts. The sprint harts are actually forged and stress tested to insure durability for track purposes where the rotas are cast, heaver, and known to break under increased pressure. So buying track tested parts that actually have some r&d put behind them and proven in the race field, therefore you get what you pay for. So if your a real enthusiast then its worth the money to invest in quality parts but since your just looking for some bling, I guess rotas are down your alley.

and exactly what does this have to do with the topic? Spending 300-500 on one wheel that WILL do the same thing in the same instance, means that when you trash one you have to wait several weeks/months to find a single replacement for a wheel thats no longer made, then save up the cash to pay out the ass for the insane price sombody will want for that one wheel. All this just so some tool a H-T will go nice rims authentic yea i will swing on your nutz now Blah.

Sorry i will buy my cheap, knock off wheels that give me the same look and style because in reality all people want are the look, who gives 2shits about a freaking name. Anybody that concerned with a name should really seek professional help, 90% of the people who put rims on their car do it for apperance they will NEVER EVER see the track and if they hit a pot hole or run their car over a curb and off a cliff, well guess what 125.00 and 20min of online shopping gets them a new rim

I spend money on my motor, not on "Name Brand" wheels.

I completely understand the stress test and R&D as mentioned earlier, but whenever I decide to track my car and but alot of stress on it, then I'll buck up, or MY current gaol for my car is to get it to 2,000 lbs. If I'm wanting and willing to achieve my goal by losing that last 4lbs, then I'll buck up and buy the lighter FORGED wheels.

My 2 pennies.
I'm still a neighborhood ASSHOLE!

Ok well im sorry but I dont feel like spending 4-500 a wheel just to fuck them up on our lovely streets here in ST.Louis. I do plan on running SCCA but I wont need some special forged wheel for it. People rock Rotas all the time doing that. So I think Rotas will do me fine. But thanks for your input.
