Ok i got a d15b7 needs a head will a d16 head work on it??

yes any Obd1+ d series head should work for you

would i be looking for vtec or non vtec head??not gonna lie the car is not in my hands yet so i really havent had a chance to really look under the hood

any non vtec head will bolt right on and will need no modifications other then matching timing belt and head gasket would be needed.

now if you want to do a vtec head then you will need a vtec ecu, matching timing belt, head gasket, vtec dizzy and wiring and possibly different head bolts/studs.

now this is a rough estimate of the actuall parts you would need to do the heads.

non vtec head and parts maybe 200.00

vtec head and parts maybe 400.00

nahhh he could probably come across a z6 head for 100-150 bucks... i got mine on d-series for 100... then a head gasket for 60... shouldnt be too bad.
