Zerg could only infest a damaged Terran Command Center with a Zerg Queen, and all that could be built from an Infested Command Center were suicidal Infested Terrans that blow up near enemies.06sik20z3;62302 wrote:i played that game religiosly never heared of a hybrid breed the zergs could mind control another breeds worker is that what you mean????

Obviously, you're not as "into" the game as you make it sound. And no Clayton, I'm not talking about the Zerg mind control.06sik20z3;62302 wrote:i played that game religiosly never heared of a hybrid breed the zergs could mind control another breeds worker is that what you mean????
Here you go...
Starcraft - Hidden Level
Complete Zerg Expansion Mission 9, "The Reckoning", in twenty minutes or less. Note that if you use the "There is no cow level" cheat to win instantly, you will not be able to access the hidden level.
The text "Hidden Level Activated" should appear in the bottom left corner of the play field, above your mini map.
Instead of Zerg Mission 10, the next level you play will be the hidden level, where you play as a Protoss scout force.
The hidden level will not appear in the mission select screen. You will have to unlock it every time you want to play it.
I figured you guys were including BROOD WARS into this convo as well...

Prove what!?
I knew about it, because I did it... and when you play the level it explains it all... Keep in mind the last time I played this game was 3 years ago. I don't remember everything word for word.

Clayton, then you missed a mission...
ENJOY.

The Protoss/Zerg Hybrid is a species created by Samir Duran through careful genetic manipulation of captured Zerg and Protoss specimens.
Spoiler Warning: Plot or ending details follow.
The Hybrid was first observed on a secret mission conducted by Zeratul on a cold moon, after Zeratul was forced to slay Matriarch Raszagal on Char.
Zeratul travelled to the moon because he detected Protoss energy signatures there - these signatures came from Protoss technology that was being operated by clandestine Terran mercenaries. They were holding Protoss and Zerg (including Infested Terran) prisoners in Stasis Cells.
The computers on some of the cells indicated that their DNA was being compiled and spliced, creating a genetic hybrid of the Protoss and Zerg races.
The most heavily-guarded Stasis Cell contained a successfully created Hybrid, and as Zeratul accessed the computer, he was contacted by Samir Duran. Duran claimed to have created the species on the orders of his masters, who have been asleep for countless ages.
Many fans believe this is a reference to the Xel'Naga, which empowered the Protoss and Zerg early in their history, due to their interest in their purity of form and essence, respectively. By combining the purity of form of the Protoss and purity of essence of the Zerg, Duran hoped to create a "perfect" Hybrid. As no awake Hybrids have ever been observed, it is unknown if Duran's hopes would come true.
Zeratul was offended by the existence of the creature and prepared to attack it. Duran said it would make no difference, because he had seeded the Hybrid on many worlds, and Zeratul could not find them all before they awoke. Zeratul attacked it (off-screen), but afterwards was unable to tell the other Protoss of this potential new threat to their species.
As it was revealed only in a secret mission at the very end of Brood War, it made no appearances in StarCraft.
ENJOY.
