Who wants to make a little money?

Post by STLracerX »

I got my S2000 OEM engine push start and I need someone to put it in. I have the wiring diagram but even with that, I don't feel comfortable messing with electrical wires. Just makes me nervous. From what I've read from others, it usually takes about 30-45 minutes tops if you have a good idea of what you're doing. So if you're interested, I'm free tonight and most of the weekend. Let me know if you can and PM me a price. Also, I'm in west county but I'm willing to drive to you. I'm getting my car detailed tomorrow morning and want to get this installed since it's for sale.

I got it pretty cheap. Plus, if my car doesn't sell right away, I at least have it installed. I'm in no hurry to sell my car. I don't expect to sell it right away. I have it in the ads and if I sell it, I sell it.

btw, here is the wiring diagram.

The only thing I'm not sure on, is if by wiring this way, I would assume you would still need to put a key in. What makes me weary, is that I have the remote start. So hopefully it won't interfere. I would like to put the key in and hit the push start if I'm in the car and want to start it from there. I dont' want to just hit the push start w/o a key in. If that makes sense

no problem at all nick , the remote start is designs to allow the car to work like factory so, when you remote start it you would still just get in the car and place the key to the on position and then drive the car like normal.

But when you start the car without the remote start you would still have to turn the key to the on position and then push the button for it to start so without the key the car will not start.

let me know when you want this done ok

Sounds like a plan. Send me a PM on what you want. I'm free after 4:30pm today. I'm getting it detailed tomorrow morning and I'm picking up the gf from the airport after. So Basically, anytime tonight after 4:30pm, same for tomorrow night, and I'm free most of Sunday. I would prefer tonight but I understand that this is very short notice. Also, Tuesday works ok for this upcoming week
