Unknown Maintenance History

Post by Martin »

Ok so I bought a 97 Acura Integra Ls 117k, 1 owner, G82P Paint, and I have a pretty much unknown maintenance history on it, other than the oil changes were done at regular times? The first thing I did was have the oil changed and a detail lol. I have plans this week to do the following, let me know if I am missing anything guys/gals.
1. Timing and all other belts.
2. Water pump and coolent flush and thermostat while in there.
3. Plugs, Wires, Cap and Rotor.
4. Fuel injector and throttle body clean, with new fuel filter.
5. Air filter
Tires look good although small 14" stock. Struts/spings ok although 4x4 high. Ill work on fixing those as soon as I get the maintenece up to my liking.

If that the fluid has never been changed, it's 87k miles overdue. It'll cost $6-$20 (Depending on what fluid you want to use) and take all of 5 minutes to do. So why wait?

They looked ok, but could be getting a little thin by now and also a pretty cheap fix so I might do those to. Anthing else? I did wipers, and top up on fluids. Thinkin about battery as well.

although honda says to change the manual trans fluid every 60,000 miles.....mr. spoon himself (Ichishima Tatsuru) says it should be strictly changed at every oil change.....at least on modified hondas driven to extremes and not some daily driver.... i change mine every oil change on my blue hatch...

Well now that I own the car, I will def. get stuff done to it unlike the previous owner. Not my daily driver, gonna be more of a fun toy at this point.
