GAS OUT May 15th!!!
Just pointing out that boycotting for one day won't make an impact....Oil companies know you're still going to buy the gas at some point. The only real impact is to shut down the demand for gas for a longer period of time. (As for the cruises; I'm going on one myself this weekend to KC for the S2Ki club!!) So keep on CRUZN'!!!

GAS OUT May 15th!!!
THeres been a lot of these gas boycotts and its still $3 a gallon. So regardless of how many people ON THE INTERNET see this, there are still millions of people who are gonna buy gas. Delivery companies, cops, city workers, bus drivers, plus anyone else driving an suv, truck, or anyone who needs gas. I dont know about you, but I dont live anywhere near my work, although I could walk or ride my bike, it would take a few hours. It would be a good idea if it actually worked.

You don't know what you're talking about. You're not very smart, and the things you're saying are nonsense. And I'm not angry. But you do need to shut up.

It takes no money out of the wallet. You are still using the same amount of gas. you just have to buy it another day. If you want to hurt the oil comapnies have a take the fucking bus(or metrolink) day.teg_timmyc;40547 wrote:there is one of these days every month!!! the oil companies could care less, all it does is take a penny out of there billion dollar wallets!! but hey i understand what you are trying to do and if it accually worked i would participate. GAS OUT May 15th!!!
This isn't directed towards you Jake, but this is the dumbest thing ever. Think about it. So no one gets gas that day and the oil companies will lose a lot of money. So what happens, people will just buy gas the next day or the day after and it will make up for the loss. Besides, people need to quit bitching about the gas prices. Yes its higher, but honestly, we are still lower than a lot of countries.budget_crx;40395 wrote:NO GAS...On May 15th 2007
Don't pump gas on may 15th
in April 1997, there was a "gas out" conducted nationwide in protest of gas prices.
Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight.
On May 15th 2007, all Internet users are to not go to a gas station in protest of high gas prices. Gas is now over $3.00 a gallon in most places.
There are 73,000,000+ American members currently on the Internet network, and the average car takes about 30 to 50 dollars to fill up.
If all users did not go to the pump on the 15th, it would take
$2,292,000,000.00 (that's almost 3 BILLION) out of the oil company's pockets for just one day, so please do not go to the gas station on
May 15th and lets try to put a dent in the Middle Eastern oil industry for at least ONE DAY.
