NO GAS...On May 15th 2007
Don't pump gas on may 15th
in April 1997, there was a "gas out" conducted nationwide in protest of gas prices.
Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight.
On May 15th 2007, all Internet users are to not go to a gas station in protest of high gas prices. Gas is now over $3.00 a gallon in most places.
There are 73,000,000+ American members currently on the Internet network, and the average car takes about 30 to 50 dollars to fill up.
If all users did not go to the pump on the 15th, it would take
$2,292,000,000.00 (that's almost 3 BILLION) out of the oil company's pockets for just one day, so please do not go to the gas station on
May 15th and lets try to put a dent in the Middle Eastern oil industry for at least ONE DAY.

Once again this is the is retarded thing ever, and this was already done on STLSR...

So logically... REPOST!

Don't buy gas on the 15th... thats sticking it to them, so I'll go out on the 16th and get it... And that's all that matters, because I stuck it to him on the 15th!

STLSR is not this site. there are some mebers on here that are not there. oh and i didnt find this on myspace, it was on a national forum. figured it couldnt hurt, i dont buy gas everyday anyway so im curious to see how it turns out.

you cant just not buy gas one day thats dumb going on a gas strike how ever could work we just have to be smart about it make it an economical thing and not buy from one company the biggest one which i beleive is molbe/exxon and if we dont buy gas from them they will have to lower prices to get customers which in turn will make other comanpies have to lower their prices like a domino effect

also i know i cant spell

If you want to make a statement then it's going to take more than this.... Everyone would need to quit driving their cars for a month..... Take public transportation, walk, ride a bike or whatever you want. Doesn't matter what day you don't buy the gas; you'll still have to buy it the day before or the day after or maybe a few days later. So if you're serious quit going on cruises and park your car for a while!!!!
