Does anyone hate Speedway Salvage as much as I do? Here are my reasons why I hate them:

-They don't have set prices and they are high

-No warranty on foreign parts

-They tax people but don't give receipts or record their taxing

-I bought a part for $10 and was charged $1 tax. That's 10%! Is that legal?

The only plus is their big selection. I think Pick n Pull should buy them out. What do you guys think?

i know the owners real good, the only jew there ya gotta worry about is francis, hes the one who likes to bump the prices up, all ya gotta do though is say the part ya have is off a 95 cavaliar, then the price is dirt cheap, hes very stupid when it comes to imports, and he doesnt know the difference between the parts

I've never liked going there because they never have any part that you need. Your better off going to Pick-N-Pull or Riverside. I swear, some of the stuff Speedway has sits there for over a year.

I never had a problem at speedway except that the inventory is slow to rotate.

Me either. Hell I got my whole rear disk swap from a DA, a front lip, 15/16 MC off a lude, LCA's and sway off the teg for 125. You can't beat that.

Not to beat a dead horse but I went there on sat and that yard is what I would now call a boneyard, not a junkyard. EVERYTHING is just about picked completely clean. I was pissed to say the least since my buddy and I needed parts for 4 different cars makes/models and came out with absolutly nothing. My advice is to go to you wrench it these days. Speedway has turned to shit.

Does anyone know of a yard that has newer cars like 02 and up? I guess it's a shot in the dark.
