HELP! Can someone help me fix this?

Post by JLMann82 »

I know I posted this one already, but its gone...

First off, this is on the front right wheel-well of my 89 Civic hatch. I posted awhile back about this, but today was the first time I actually looked to see what happend. Well it was obvious once I looked. Is this a tie rod? It looks simple to take off of the hub side, but I am clueless when it comes to the other side. HELP ME PLEASE!?!?! Anyone know how to do this kinda repair? Wanna make a few bucks, or get some free alcohol? TIA!

Thats the radius arm for the front suspension, its what keeps the controll arm from moving fwd and backward while under gas or brake.

You will need to either order a new one or go to the bone yard and get the whole front piece and remove what you need. The arm it sulf it easy to remove as long as its not under tension (attached at the controll arm). There should just be like a 17mm nut on the other side of the arm holding it into the bushing, remove that and the 2 17 mm on the controll arm and the radius arm should come right out and be able to be replaced the same way.

good luck and if you need help let us know
