8 plug 4 banger?

why would a 4 cylender have 8 plugs? anyone know? just curiosity.

Google it. My brother's Ford Ranger has 8 plugs and 4 cylinders.

its to completely burn the fuel mixture, it can be used for performance or fuel economy. Top fuel runs 2 plugs per cyl

Only because they can't run seven!

Before NHRA capped 'em at two per, there were several successful three-plug Hemi Heads used. CC temp went to the moon if they were just a tad lean, though.

nice! alot of SVO mustang guys put those heads on thier cars just for that reason
