SERIOUSLY what the heck?!

Because it makes more since to help educate them in the languages they will most likely be exposed to.

Kind of how Spanish French and German are typically the only ones taught in primary and secondary schools.

Edit: because they are obviously targeted to English speaking Americans, yet wish to educate, or they figure that since they are required to print certain text on the box, do it in the most used language in the area of distribution, but print the other languages on the part of the product which is most often used/handled. Chances are a Spanish speaking person knows what a box of crayons is w/o needing to read the box, yet labeling of the crayons themselves is helpful.

SO theh why wouldnt they have different crayon packages? If USA is so worried about kids learning different laguages they should make the box in all three languages as well. That is just my opinion.

Because its probably a lot cheaper to run one labeler on every crayon and several (3) to package it than it is to use 3 labelers and 3 packagers.

^no kid reads the box.... think about it from a child’s mind. they know that "fire engine red" means on the crayon, thus they can guess that "despida motor rojo" and "vider le moteur rouge" mean the same thing, based on proximity.

(thoes are cheap translations, probably incorrect)

maybe because there is too much writing on the box for a child to learn the new language. that much writing would have to be taught, with the proper grammer and such. a kid can't look on the back of the box to learn how to speak spanish but by looking at the crayons they can at least learn the certain words of the colors.

And this thread is funny, I learned my foreign language JUST fine, hell I know 2 different languages and didnt need crayons to tell me! Even went to Germany and had conversations with the germans in their language OH MY WORD!
