Then why not put every language on there?SikofFalln;29291 wrote:Well, as a father of a 5 year old, I think it is great to have the name of the color in more then just English. I agree on the whole speak the language yada yada yada, but it is a reality that there are more and more people that speak other languages. If anyone has ever been out of this country, excluding Cananda, you would know that there are many countries where it is normal to speak more then one language. I totally support what Crayola is doing.
SERIOUSLY what the heck?!

In fact we trail behind every other country as technologically and economically advanced as ourselves in linguistics.
Not only in that, but every other scholarly field, which explains a lot about the state of the country.
i just dont see why it matters to you people that our culture is changing. its always been dynamic, you just have too get out of the suburbs.

Well then let’s go off on another limb and assume it’s not an unholy foreign slap to your unfaultable American face, and but that it is in fact an effort to help young children become multi lingual.

If you are confused about that, you must really be oblivious to the world around you.99preludesh;29295 wrote:Lol at you people but it doesnt matter, I was just confused on why it wasnt always in different languages, and when they changed it.

I think the crayons are printed in other languages so they can be exported and sold in other countries (markets). But they may also be doing it to piss you guys off, I am not sure...... j/k

maybe because those languages are not spoken to the north and south of us like spanish and french. If our kids are to learn another language it might as well be the ones they come in contact wiith the most99preludesh;29298 wrote:And once again why wont they have more than 2 languages on there?
