So I went to walgreens before work today to get my coloring books and crayons because I get super bored at work. Well I pull the crayon out to read the color and now it has 2 other languages on the crayon besides English. They were made in the USA so it should only have English on it...thats just my opinion. Since when did this change? Because I remember my old crayons just saying the color in English and thats it.
Oh if you want a picture colored for you let me know I got the Hot Wheels coloring book!
SERIOUSLY what the heck?!

I agree. If you come to America, learn our language. Don't walk around our streets speaking whatever the fuck it is that you speak. It's disrespectful in my opinion. If I moved to china or mexico, I'd speak Chinese or Spanish out of respect. I understand speaking your comfortable language not in public but when you're in public, speak their language. That's just my .02

The people who made those coloring books and crayons were probably brought in by the company because they were looking for a cheap source of labor. So your buying them only facilitates the influx of undereducated non-english speaking populous. It's really a viscious cycle. You should find a new hobby to cure boredom at the workplace, like doing actual work....or smoking.

And thanks for caring about what I do at work, but I do my job very well. I take phone calls and when phone calls dont come in and I have 20 minutes in between each phone call I tend to get a little bored. Also HAHAHAHA at smoking, thats a disgusting habit that I will never EVER try, im smarter than that.

I didn't say I was for the multilanguage crayons, but that's how it's gonna be. You can't advertise as a 'melting pot' and then try to conform everyone to a strict set of cultural norms. If we kicked out everyone that wasn't fluent in English, then there wouldn't be anyone to make yer damn crayons.
This was meant to be a joke, btw (now I know why you add a "i was totally joking" suffix to most of your posts), but don't you shit on my disgusting habit.

Well, as a father of a 5 year old, I think it is great to have the name of the color in more then just English. I agree on the whole speak the language yada yada yada, but it is a reality that there are more and more people that speak other languages. If anyone has ever been out of this country, excluding Cananda, you would know that there are many countries where it is normal to speak more then one language. I totally support what Crayola is doing.
