What the heck are artichoke hearts?

So last night my mom gives me money yo go get some artichoke hearts and a red onion, why I dont know.

So about 12am I was on my home remember this, so I go to Schnucks and find the red onion in like 3 minutes and I kid you not it took a good 35 minutes to find the stupid artichoke thingies. Seriously wtf are those things?!?

Center of the artichoke?...lot of the mexican foods I cook use them...I know artichoke dip is the shit!!!

Ohhh ok well I think I got the entire artichoke oops. Haha thats what my mom said to me at 5am this morning my bad lol.

No clue what the heck shes making, but I know it took me forever to find the wrong stuff haha.
