Coming from LS1 land, I know they had kits for my camaro, and for my C5 corvette that put the turbo in the rear of the car inplace of the muffler(STS). Has anybody done this to a Honda? Or any other FWD for that matter? I know it mainly started with larger motors due to the lack of under hood space. But I know alot of you guys, to run turbos have to get smaller radiators, fans, and so on.
Not that it matters, but I thought about it while running power wire on my Versa, realizing how cramped my engine bay is, I just started thinking about it. Although there are turbo Versas out there, and I have no thoughts of doing this to mine, it just made me wonder.

remote mounted systems are turds, but i can understand how people would go for them. One of the biggest parts of a turbo setup is finding a manifold that works, but its a hell of alot easier to just put a flange on the end of your exsiting exhaust. then again, the chargepiping and oillines have to be forever long LOL

You don't know what you're talking about. You're not very smart, and the things you're saying are nonsense. And I'm not angry. But you do need to shut up.

there is an sts (squires turbo systems) camaro that rolls around st. charles, Squires also makes a kit for the integra and civics..
basically it takes the place of the muffler, its quite loud but it sounds bad ass.
its super stock looking in the engine bay too, some say there would be alot of lag, considering its all the way in the back of the car, but idk, boost is boost if you ask me.

I don't claim to know alot about turbo systems, but it seems with a remote mount system like that, it would be horribly inefficent on a small displacment motor such as a honda's. It just doesn't seem like it would have a strong enough exhaust pulse to make it worth while.

On LS1 cars, owners claim to have virtually no lag.
And supposedly, the charge pipe length only cuts down on .5 psi, BUT due to the length of the pipe the charge temps are lowered so much, that its actually has more power than what it looses with that minus .5 psi.
