missouri law on abandon cars

i found a civic parked in a lot no tags and everything was pulled out of it how would i go about getting it

was there an abandoned car notice on it? it is usually a bright orange or green piece of paper stating that the vehicle was abandoned and it gives the date to which the tow truck will come to take it. if its stripped it will most likely be taken to a junkyard, if it isn't stripped the car will eventually be put up for auction by the city. so if there is a notice try calling the number on the notice or showing up when the tow truck is scheduled to arrive and make some deals

If there is no notice just leave a note offering to buy it :dunno:

well the car is in a gas station lot like some one left it there and it has a huge oil leak under with no tags and stuff been gutted on the inside and it had a ticket on the windshild for no tags its not a bad civic i was wondering cuz it has a few mods and if i could get it some way it would be all good

I believe the owner of the lot can get an abandonment title, for it being left in thier possession on the property, but I don't think you yourself could claim any rights to it.
