I wouldn't paint anything else under the hood besides the valve cover. I painted the fuse box, resivor (sp?) caps, PS cap, dip stick, valve cover, raditor cap, and overflow cap on the fo do. I then regreted doing it a week later. It took me forever to get the paint off and find replacement parts.

i have had some luck with gunk foamy engine bright, about $2 per can spray it on let it sit and rinse it off. you have to scrub some spots and be careful not to get water in some areas but it works.HondaChild;17980 wrote:Yes I know I need to clean it. How would I go about doing that just soap and water?
