there are like 8 threads about this already, its been asked and answered several times.

and the idea behind the 30 post count is to get users active on the site, not posting "yo" 20 times in new member threads.

Meh I find closing the forsale thread pretty weak if ya ask me, I mean who cars if they come on the site and find something someone's selling that they want and buy it. Pretty much this just slows the process of use selling things, now if it could be monitored for post whoreing that would be cool.

I mean I goto plenty of forums where I only have 1 post and view there stuff and do the rest through messages, never had a problem there. I understand you want the people more into the site like alot of us are but you can't expect everyone on the site to come with the same plan on making it a awesome forum for help/deals/friends/meets/groups things of this sort.

I say give the lowers people back the for sale thread, but hey thats me and i'm 1 person.

+1 I think the new users should make some sort of contribution to the site (i.e. Make useful posts with needed info or helping a member out.) before they can make posts in the FS threads.

...no one closed any for sale threads. he's referring to this thread: http://stlhondas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1363 which was closed.
Rick made the Marketplace private to prevent people from buying/selling through PM's because they don't have the post count needed to post in the forums.

Motion to ban next user who makes a "I can view the forsale section" thread

If they cant read, they shouldnt be on here

You don't know what you're talking about. You're not very smart, and the things you're saying are nonsense. And I'm not angry. But you do need to shut up.

But theres people that posted for sale items and no can't get into see if there stuff is being sold. This is the problem on it, a few members that were trying to buy/sell have asked me about things and of course I can't do anything about it but I say the ones that are members already fix it back for them only. Any new users just tag it to there name is all, if ya know what I'm saying. Like the ones that join today its effective ya know

Motion to bann you, you can't neglect the fact that these users have for sale/trying to buy items and now they can't back in to view those threads. The site will continue to fill until you fix it back for everyone that is on the site, and when a person joins from now on it should be tagged to there name. Sorta like a trial membership sorta thing if they don't do 30 posts in say a month the name gets deleted or account gets locked sorta thing.

Don't motion to ban cause you barely made it as you sit.

I think it should be open to anyone regardless of post count. There are many people who don't care to take part in forums, but they may also have some parts you, me or anyone could possibly be interested in.
