Hmm actually I have 31, now 32 posts and still cannot view those forums..

Give it time, its not instant. Once you reach the limit you have to wait for a chron job to kick off to update your account.

just wait, the program that promotes members(gives them the new permissions, etc.) runs every 60 minutes, so you have 1 hour or less.
