I got a tri-pod!

So last night I came home from dance about 11ish to a tri-pod for me for my birthday. I was stoked!

But the only problem is....I dont really know much about cameras and how to take decent pictures. If someones willing to help me out on this, that would be great. Maybe meet up sometime soon? Thanks!
