Turbo'd FODO Finally out;)
Me and Silverstreak got her running today, funny things boost gauge hit 17psi and we was like wtf cause it was at like 9psi then jumped ot 17psi so I pulled out. Then the cel like hit and it dies and were like wtf, so we pull the hazzard fuse then roll out. Then we take off and boost 10psi it starts spinning third but then outta no where when i hit fourth the clutch slips it's ass off, so now we gotta get something going on were my clutch won't slip and the cel like will stay off. Right now the car is sitting at 7psi and either flashing 1 and 3 from what we found or its flashing 13. Son-o-bitch

the codes are 1 o2 sensor, 3 map sensor, 13 baro sensor what are you using from managment? sounds like the stock ecu is seeing boost and freaking out. the only way to get the clutch not to slip is to get a new one...

It seems like after we hit over 5 psi, the CEL goes off and the car dies. I was thinking the MAP sensor is the cause of this and we could use check valves for the time being until his ECU is chipped and tuned. And I belive it was thorwing a code 1 (O2 Sensor) and 3 (MAP Sensor). We blew off the charge piping twice when hitting 13 psi, and I think the charge piping unplugged the O2, and thats why its throwing a code 1.

alright, damn wow ok i started feeling shitty cause i thought i had to tell him his motor was prolly junk...SilverStreak02;10202 wrote:We ran it with DSM 450's and a stock ECU.
if you want it chipped get the ecu to me and ill do it you still need a socket if you havent gotten one...
edit: btw the ecu throws o2 codes when it sees its too rich or lean so your new o2 sensor is working...

yeah ran 450 injectors, it's got a tune up, oil change, theres no oil leaks nor coolant leaks. The o2 I figured was gonna throw a code, the air fuel meter reads somewhat rich until i let out then as it idles down in gear it goes stock. I'll go get a 28 pin socket tommorow from radio shake since there only like $3 just give me a time to bring it to ya so we can get it settled. Also found out having the BOV conntected to the fuel pressure regulator is clearing the line so it's like running with the hose off and when it gets air back it tries to kill the car. So I found the best place to connect the BOV is to the pcv hose so I shall put it inline with that tommorow. Other then that I have 20 vacuum when started and when boosted now it's at 7psi, all in all I just have to switch from hoses to steel braided soon cause I want it like that lol.
