3G Eclipse owners are idiots

Its like pulling teeth to get any information out of these idiots.

A couple examples:

I asked if the V6 eclipse was odd or even fire and got 3 responses with the firing order. So I had to explain the difference between the types.

I ask if the V6 was internally balanced or used a harmonic balancer, and no one knew what a harmonic balancer was, so I posted a pic of one and explained it. The response I got to that was being called an idiot because all cars have crank pulleys. I then reexplained the difference and they still don't grasp it.

I have met and talked to a few eclipse owners that dont really know much about their own car...yikes.

thats because the 3rd gen eclipse is a disgrace to the name, noone wants to know about them because they never came out with a turbo model that year, just a fat pigged out v6 gt model, *yank*yank*

Its a fat ass car, and ad poorly built engine, but it has a bad ass block. most of the 3kgt parts are interchangeable. The rods and the pistons will swap out, but the heads wont. the only reason the heads wont is hood and firewall clearance. Clearance issues also keep the TT manifolds from mounting up.

the after market support is so limited on the SOHC V6. There is a SC kit that I have read nothing but problems about, and 1 turbo kit that is very back ordered due to parts shortage. I can only find low compression pistons but not stock or raised compression. I plan to get the lower compression(8.5) pistons and stock TT rods. Then once i get that done i am going to dump nitrous into it until it blows up
