edit: and please school me on what i must have missed through 2 years of tech school, 3 years in the field, and a 3 day hunter engineering alignment course have yet to teach me about camber.

alright, you asked for it.

2.5-3 degrees of negative camber on a honda is a good thing. actually its BEST! unless you have a straight line ONLY drag car. camber wear? lmao. camber kits are the oldest misconception there is.

instead of wasting my time on all you sheep, im just going to cut to the chase and post some links that back up everything i would have said.

read them all carefully so there is no confusion.

you OBVIOUSLY fail at reading. i know this for a fact because there is no way you read all that. look at the time of my post and your post. 3 minutes apart, you cant even read all 3 pages of the first link in 3 minutes. proves what a moron you are.

AND NO, NONE OF IT IS ABOUT TRACK SHIT.

bildo16;148408 wrote:it is all about slightly lowered cars a DA on an eibach prokit=1 maybe 1.5 inches of drop? my car is lowered nearly three inches!!!!! tell me i dont need a camber kit and i will pull mine off, put the stock control arms in and take a fucking picture to satisfy you. my car will have AT LEAST 3 degrees negative camber, my tires will squeal under moderate turning and it WILL wear tires, i have proof.
you still didnt read the first link.

NO you dont fucking need one. my cars have had that much camber and i dont have camber kits on them for years now. i have proof too. you want to see my tires. that squeel (which i have never heard on a honda) is from a full contact patch.... which, once again, IS A GOOD THING.

youre like everyone else, go by conventional wisdom and automatically think hey i need a camber kit because i lowered my car and its going to wear my tires out! SHEEP!

lol, i did read parts. they all pertained to the same type of suspension setup. honda had a great idea to actually progress from what they designed 20 years ago. nearly every statement you make deals with old technology. just because i dont work on old cars (like yourself) doesnt make me a retard. ive had a wide variety of experiences with all sorts of hondas (and some isuzu's) so thanks for schooling me with your ability to search HT and you fantastic copy and paste skills. maybe you should keep those outstanding skills on a site where people actually respect you.
