RCOTW: 1999 Honda Civic Jordan

Post by budget_crx »

In 1999 Honda made a limited edition Civic Hatchback available only in the UK market. It was based off the Civci 1.6 VTi and was only available in one color:Sunlight Yellow. The car featured the same B16A2 that was available in the standard VTi, but an extra 10bhp was rumored to be added.

Special features of the special edition include a Civic TypeR bodykit (without the hatch spoiler or the front grill), 15" split 5 spoke alooy wheels, AC and a yellow/black two tone leather interior.

Production was only in 1999 and only 500 were made.

this one has been slighty modified with new headlights and removal of the "Jordan" decal ^^^

note the "Jordan" script where the TypeR logo usually goes

Actually, Honda did make rims like that. It was an option. At least here it was. See--> http://www.handa-accessories.com/civic/civ15whl.jpg I can't say for the seats though.

its funny you mention that because there is a bee stitched onto the backs of the seats

and yes these cars are 100% OEM, i couldn't find any info on why honda made them though. I did though find a registry where over 100 owners listed pics of their cars and they all have the same stuff (wheels seats)

I personally think the cars are kinda funky, but i like how rare they are. Next week I will have an even more rare honda, one that I know alot about and love :D
