...notice how my post said absolutely nothing about the pressure plate and bearings. I said the clutch disk itself is about $100 from Acura, which isn't honestly that bad.

I didnt answer about pressure plates because i dont ever plan on running stock pressure plates; i would upgrade since I know i dont keep my motors stock. what I would do about a pressure plate would be a green level pressure plate from clutchnet.com (~10% torque increase) for $85
and looking around online, I've seen pilot bearings for ~$10 and release bearings for ~$40
that makes $235 for a clutch kit.

or go visit your local parts store for everything you need.

yes, $100 isn't bad, but with the plate and the bearings it comes to around $450, which i don't mind paying for the quality i'm getting

i plan on keeping my motor stock so a stock pressure plate is fine with me

yes, parts store is around $300 for the kit and i've found them for around as cheap as$165 or so online..i was just wondering how the quality of these parts are

thanks for your help

Maybe if you told us what clutch kit you were looking at we would tell you about the quality of it :dunno:

auto com, beck arnley, sachs, luk, etc. all seem to make "oem quality" clutch kits

If I am going to go with OE quality from ebay I usually go with exedy. A huge chunk of car manufactures use exedy as their OE clutch supplier, just without the exedy badge. I was able to get my stock spec clutch and aluminum flywheel through ebay for $490 shipped
