I know its not for me but I dont want them to keep buying aa batteries all the time.

actually, they are expensive, but those Energizer E2 lithium batteries work pretty well and last for a fairly long time as long as you don't forget to turn the camera off (like I have done a few times :doh: )

Canon and nikon is the only way to go. nikons cameras are smaller though, but canon is seriously the best

The elf's use lithium rechargables. Theyre pretty nice but I dont know if theyre gonna be in your $200 budget, you might be able to find them on ebay though.

Also, all of the digital slr's dont use AAs either
