iirc, you are talking about Matt at HTP right?

i know it doesn't make sense, but mine isn't made anymore, and TECHNICALLY, it's for an EG. we just turned it and crammed it as high as it would go to fit mine.

i'll look around. and yes, Matthew does my welding work in STL. back home, i helped make and weld mine, but he won't let anyone help weld really.

well, you could probably just keep your axleback then if you wanted too. If I have to get a muffler welded in I'll just get one made the way I want it to be, and now that I think about it I think I read somewhere the Hf and Si exhausts are different :dunno:. I can be very picky about shit like this, and no, my exhaust isn't *supposed* to look like it does right now, but thats not their fault.

they did the system I have now and its getting pretty chewed up already (about 1 1/2 years of use on it) plus I had problems getting my car back when it was supposed to be ready, it took an extra day after they swore it would be done by 8pm the day they did the work, and I ended up having to pay late fees to get the car licensed because I couldn't get it emissions tested an DMV'd the Saturday I got it back from the shop and had to wait until monday to get it licensed...
And I don't think Matt actually made it for me. He was a good guy, I talked to him on the phone and dealt with him when I dropped off and picked up my car, but I didn't end up feeling like I had a GREAT experience afterwards.
And I PMd him like 2 months ago to get a quote on just a getting a pipe made from my midpipe to that dynomax muffler I have(and I think welding the pipe to the muffler and the outlet pipes too- they are clamp on right now) and he never bothered to respond at all. So ummm I'd have to think about it. They haven't seemed too concerned with keeping me as a customer thus far...
If Matt does the system, I'll think about taking my car back down there, otherwise, no thanks.

if it was shit, it wasn't him. matt's an EXCELLENT welder.

i'll call him. he'll do it then. i just got 3ppl into him this week, 2 of which aren't even on any of the boards, and one needing custom wastegate work. you gotta know the right ppl sometimes unfortunately.

hell yeah im using it! i was going to convert my current engine to OBD1, but now i dont have to! this fucker is going straight to AMT
