i didn't see this!!!1

the whole reason i have a 2.5" exhaust is b/c i had a b17lined up to buy for only 1500, complete, no problems. my ex found it and set up everything for me to buy it(i was going to college and working ft). we show up and the guy wants to know who i am. doug was telling him i was the one buying it. i brought $2000 cash just in case he decided to up on me. he REFUSED SALE b/c i'm a girl and he thought i'd ruin the motor. i flipped out on him screaming i was the one that had the idea of wanting the b17; offered him my $2000 plus a bit of what doug had...guy wouldn't budge. that actually is what killed me further modding the car, except the audio i have now.

sooo about that exhaust...

there is a guy down in highridge who had one for sale... the tranny needed a rebuild tho, I tried to buy it off of him anyway, but he flaked and never got back to me about it. :smashfreakB:

like i said..gimme a chance to get a new one, and it's yours; i've already promised you that.

right now's not a good time b/c of the holidays, and i'm attempting to get debt paid off asap. i'm about $800 more poor a month b/c i've been dumping money to debt. i don't have to do that much, but i want to get out and put more money away later.

what did we agree on? you get the piping...i keep the muffler and i get new, smaller piping?

well i need a muffler..and i like mine.

i think at the time had been thinking of the whole thing b/c i was going to bag the car. you can get mufflers for CHEAP though. i can help get one too if you'd like. i can also get you a hookup on the welding. it's actually the ONLY person(owns a shop) in STL i'll let touch my car when it comes to welding and other parts, except for rick and shawn and myself.

well, can you not get another muffler like that one? I'd even buy it for you... it doesn't really make sense to hack up the system just to put it all back together with basically the same thing :dunno:

iirc, you are talking about Matt at HTP right?
