probably one of the rarest junkyard finds ever...
My buddy Eric sent me a message saying he found a civic with a JDM DOHC ZC in it at his friend's junkyard. so i call the guy up and tell him its sold! I go over to the junkyard to pay the guy, start looking at damn thing, turns out its an OBD1 model!!! I get the engine and dizzy, a hydro d series tranny (s20) and the wiring harness for a damn good price.

I'm still in disbelief that such a rare engine was just chillin in a junkyard. Today rules!

*ninja edit* I also just found out im going to New York in a month!!!!! w00t :music:

We had a k24 at school in our "junkyard" I guess you could say but one of the 3rd semester guys bought it for $200.

Yeah he has one but we had another one too and that kid snatched it in no time...I was kind of sad. I could have sold it for tons more haha.

thats because its a piece of shit.

oh and its a USDM only engine, finding an engine from another country is a little bit more surprising

dibs on the tranny! I would fucking love to find a gsr ys1 in good shape. someone on stlsr just bought one for next to nothing iirc, and I hate him for it.
