tires?

Took a 1/2 day of work yesterday so i could come home and wash my car in the nice weather, and on my way home i hit something and blew out my passenger rear tire...awsome :/ when i bought the car it had ziex on the front and as430s on the rear, both all season tires that i didn't necessarily want anyways. So now I decided to go ahead and swap out all 4 for a new matching set. Preferably I want a summer performance tire with good dry and wet traction, and it would be nice to have decent treadwear life. So i was wondering what the few of you s2k owners on here are running. Any recommendations? I don't plan on driving the car in the snow with these tires, so snow traction is not in the equation for me. and i doubt i will see much if any autox, but i would still like something sticky for the spirited drives.

Also, my car is a 03 with the stock ap1 rims and according to this http://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=48572 i need to run a 245/45/16 in the rear if I don't go w/ the OEM potenza s02s. Anybody know much about this? I was looking at the direzza star specs but they don't make them in a 245/45/16, so now i'm debating on just sucking it up and splurging on the s02s but they obviously aren't cheap and the tread life sucks. i'm looking for any help or suggestions. i need to get my s back on the road asap!
