From a performance stand point, it comes down to what spring rates you end up buying.

As far as the difference? The ground controls are way easier to adjust. Not to mention ground controls have a better warranty.

The Ground Controls are much better quality in my opinion. That and the ability to order custom springs rates and their warranty put them well ahead of Skunk2.

Don't bother getting either if you're going to put them on KYB GR-2's. They are a stock replacement strut and are not valved properly for the spring rates of the Skunk2 or Ground Control OTS coilover sleeves. You'll be lucky if the struts last a month.

my mistake i cant get the coilovers for that price, that is the price of the fixed position lowering springs. if i got the adjustable agx's would those handle coilovers?

The Eibach ERS springs used in GC kits are linear, not progressive.

As for the KYB AGX's, I would call KYB and ask what the highest recommended spring rate for your application is. If you don't use a spring with a higher rate then what they recommend then you should be fine with the AGX's. GC extended top hats are a must have with these setups.

I wouldn't buy kyb agx shocks. I've been through 2 sets from a while ago and kyb will not warranty the shocks if there is evidence that they were on a lowered (1.5"+) car.

Although with extended top hats, the shock will have more travel, so I don't know how much it would effect the durability.

Koni yellows are not much more per shock, and are backed by a lifetime warranty. You would have to send them in to get re-valved, but its better than buying new.
