Post by 91beatuphatch »

okay on my 90 crx si, im having serious inside tread wear only on both passenger tires. i understand i need an alignment but the rear appears to be non-adjusting. ive eaten both tires in 3 weeks. i understand how to fix the front but any ideas on rear? its loweres on tociko blues and h&r in rear and shit adjustables in front. the car doesnt seem to have any extremely noticable camber.

Take it to the alignment shop. They will fix it, unless you have some bad parts. In that case, replace the bad parts and get it alligned.

Look into rear lca's and a rear Camber kit it will solve all, my fodo had a bad bushing on the lca it looked like it was there but when taken off the only thing there was a sleeve and a little rubber that hadn't deteriorated.

Theres toe adjustment at the very front of your rear trailing arms, and check your trailing arm bushings. My car has the same problem

Edit- camber kits are useless. Read the thread on hondatech about them. A good alignmnt will fix your problem

If the bushings are bad that has to cause some kind of movement, I would check them out and if you need them you can get energy suspension bushings for 30 bucks

one thing i wondered about the es t/a bushings is that it doesnt look like it comes with the center bar. the oem ones are made into it? any idea how it works or does it come with the part just not pictured?

You'll reuse the center piece from the factory RTA bushing. Just separate it from the bushing, which should be very easy on a 20-year-old CRX, and remove any excess rubber from it.
