Upper Ball Joints

I drive a 92 Prelude Si...

it needs rear upper balljoints n from the look of it, im pretty sure its pressed into my upper control arm.....now my question is can the be done by anyone of do i have to take it to an alignment shop or machine shop or anything like that?

The rear upper ball joints are not supposed to be pressed out of the arm. I'm guessing you're wanting to put an adjustable ball joint from someone like SPC in based on your other posts, correct?

i was wantin to replace it.....u mean to tell me i cnt replace jus the ball joint....i gotta replace the whole arm?

Yes. If you want to just replace the ball joint, the whole upper arm needs to be replaced.

I replaced just the upper ball joint on my accord with the tool set

I got a press and i got the tool kit if you can order them from autozone we can put them in take a picture of them and post them i wil see if it is worth our time.

ended up ordering and pressing in new ones and installing a brand new ingalls camber on the rear...gettin it aligned tomorrow. thanks for the help
