Ok, so whats the best, most simple kit for struts/springs for my EG6?
My shocks are all blown, and I just want to get a decent kit on there instead of replacing them with OEM parts.
On my eclipse I used a Tokico Blue kit that came with 1.5" lowering springs all as one whole package. Anything like that for our cars?
Whats the best/cheapest online retailer for these cars?

Depends on what your really wanting out of the suspension, theres so many options for these cars its silly.
But a Decent setup IMO is the Skunk2 Shocks and Springs combo, i had it years ago on my white hatch and i liked it. Great for DD and it looks good, Never had any problems with them.

I'd also get some rear lower control arms while you're at it.

I found the Tokico HP kit (Thanks Phate!), and thats what I had on my Eclipse.
Its about the same price as the Skunk2 kit you posted, which one is going to be better/most reliable for a daily? cause that's what I care about the most.
Also, what are the best control arms for the money?
Where do you guys buy your shit online?

Or eBay, you can find good prices on stuff there. i honestly buy most of my stuff on eBay.
The Skunk2 shocks are designed with a shorter over all shock body for lowered cars so the piston isn't compressed X% of the time its used thus increasing its life if you plan to be lower. They're great paired with the springs and ride very nicely.
The Tokico HP's are basically OE replacements, they're taller than the Skunk2's but i still hear good things about them. They aren't bad by any means if you plan to not go as low with the skunk2 springs. i'm sure they'll be adequate enough.
I guess i'm kinda bias because i've always used the skunk2 stuff. On my car now i have Skunk2 Shocks with Ground Control sleeves. love it. I like to be low tho

As far as LCA's go, Blox are the cheapest but the bushings like to go out on them i had red ones a purple ones on my two hatches and really never had a problem honestly. but on my Tegs i used Skunk2, more expensive but you pay for the better bushings. I know N2HIFI has some blox for sale for $80 and if you don't even want to get aftermarket, I have Stock ones off my teg with Energy bushings in them.

best bang for the buck? skunk2 springs/shocks.. had them on my crx and civic and it was the first and only lowered vehicles that actually rode pretty damn close to stock! and you can get the set pretty cheap on ebay like i did mine.
stay away from tokico! theyre crap. not made for lowered cars.
make a offer, you can usually get them for $400 shipped.

New to this forum but frequent H-T, CI, TI, etc.
Best bang for buck, from personal opinion and general consensus...
Koni Yellow/Ground Control Sleeves.
Just a thought. THMotorsports has the kit for 799 shipped to your face.

Koni Sports or SP3's. Perch adjustment on the shock body. Will drop your car half a inch. That fits your criteria, game over.ZenkiS14;261004 wrote:I dont want to race, or slam this car at all. Its my daily, Just want it a tad lower, and to have fresh shocks, thats all i care about.
