I have really been looking into getting a s2k, mainly because ive been wanting a rwd car, but didnt want to loose my vtec. I have had a 95 ex, and now have a 94 gsr, and am considering parting with my gsr.
To the few s2k owners on here, Is it easy to switch over to a s2k? How does it do in the winter? Whats gas mileage like?
what are some pros and cons?
Should i get a s2k?

Should i get a s2k?
my boyfriend has one. He had an rsx type s before he got one. He loves it alot... probably more then me lol. For the pros and cons...
+Rev to 9k!!!
+RWD
+Convertible
+Ok gas millage for what it is (about 22mpg)
+Not terrible in the snow.
+Decently fast
+Fun to drive in the rain lol
-2 seater
-the trunk is really small
-kinda small on the inside
There's probably some that I forgot, but I'm pretty sure he'll put the ones that I did up here. But a word of advice, if you do decide to buy one make sure its an '02 and up because the '00 and '01 have plastic windows in the back that crack super easy and plus the newer ones just look a lot better on the inside. Hope this helped!

ok, read what you typed. you had a civic. you now have a gsr. how is an s2000 NOT an improvement?
if space is an issue, the car is not for you.
if you do not like to get ass happy, or twists/turns, the car is not for you.
if you do not like a responsive car in general, the car is not for you.
if you don't want to be faster than both your civic and gsr, it's not for you.
if you don't want to shell out some $$$$$ for mods, the car is not for you.
as for the back window in the 1st gen, i never had a problem, nor has anyone i know w/ that gen. my next one will be a first gen again btw.

Should i get a s2k?
not for a daily. they squeak, they rattle, they arent built for longevity, the suck total balls in snow, they are expensive(for a nicely kept s2k). if i were looking to get one, i would be looking for a 1 owner car that had been garaged by an old man that had under 20k miles on it. if i could not afford it, i wouldnt get one just to get one if you catch my drift.
