Suspension HELP!!!??

Post by tbrazzy-s3 »

So, do ES bushing kits cover the UCLA's ? If so, that might be an option. I do need to replace the left front control arm though. Whether OEM or a front camber kit. Do you just think camber kits are a waste of money, or have you had problems with them in the past? Curious.

well i think they are a waste of money because my friends have had problems with em in the past
also the amount you pay for em dont compensate to the decrease in treadware of you not having em
so far behind im ahead of the pack.

Right. I'm going to pull mine back out in favor of OEM peices. They come out of adjustment, make noise...useless. If your toe is in spec, and you are able to rotate tires you will be just fine without a kit.

in that case I might start looking for OEM replacement, might be a little cheaper if I can find a good deal online.

well its also hard for the mechanic to get it set right also the mechanic may give you positive camber because the front is -1-1 as far as oe specs go in the front
and -1.8-1 in the rear i may be wrong though
so far behind im ahead of the pack.

ok so there is no hope for the skunk 2s, they are junk skunk 2 knows nothing about suspension. Every one that ive ever talked to that has skunk 2 and all the reviews ive seen are all negative! My other option im considering is buying neuspeed springs and new struts, and getting rid off the entire coilover bullshit path iv been on since i bought them. Any one know of any where to get struts?? stock or aftermarket. Ive looked at some price ranges and whats available for my car, all i can really find are these koni which are more than im looking to spend. Know of any stock struts anyones selling??

Alright I finally made my decision i ordered some d2 coilovers, the strut hunting has been absolutely useless, that and i would need everything not just the struts themselves. So soon ill have full d2s and new lcas!
