1. D2 have a MUCH better reputation with coilovers than Skunk2.....
2. She hasnt messed with the preload
3. it wont help make a shitty product less-shitty
4. Yes, why not? Function and Form rides GREAT. My K-Sports are actually better than my spring setup I had.

Matt, you know about some things but this area wouldn't happen to be one of them, you have a COMPLETELY different setup than what she is using.

Nope, still useless. Set toe and drive it.

Do a little research and you'll find I'm right.

Now if you are running -4 degrees, its a little different, but for most its only about -2, which is fne as long as the toe is in spec.

Since about a year ago my front suspension has been popping and clunking everytime i turn and go over bumps, i work at bommarito honda and the techs here have looked at my car many times to try to fix the problem... i think it pretty much comes down to skunk 2 suspension is junk and im just going to replace everything, I found a kit from d2 that 890.00 shipped but i have heard both ways on these coilovers some say they are good some say bad. Any suggestions around this price range if not the d2s!
honestly this is kind of common on the rsx's , heather had the same issue on here buddy clubs when we first put them on and it took a cpl different tries and setting changes to get them to where they made almost no noise.

If you looking for a change up in the suspension you might try seeing if she's still parting her car out and see what she wants for her Buddy Club stuff

Suspension HELP!!!??

Post by tbrazzy-s3 »

I wasn't saying it was due to the camber. The bushings, on my ULCA's are blown. It's riding metal on metal. When my chassis raises or rolls. It pops, clanks, and sounds like a death trap. I could, replace with stock. Or I just buy a camber kit. It's going to be a little more expensive but not by much. I wasn't implying it was her camber causing the problem, not at all. And my front control arms, the left one is loose, been like that since I bought the car, bolts are rusted and the piece needs to be replaced. Replacing it, would reduce some of the "clunking" I hear when I run on uneven ground.

I know why my car makes the noises it does, simply trying to help her troubleshoot. Now why don't you go fix the car? We're all just trying to help in our own way, but you've got it figured out big guy. Happy for you.

To be honest, you would be better off with just urethane bushings, or OEM pieces...camber kits can cause more trouble than they are worth.
