So I was talking with someone randomly about premade lines since I figure I might as well do mine in front when I change the brakes soon.
General idea of what was said, he thinks they all fit like total utter shit and I should not waste my time. That I should make them up myself instead.
I have not heard any real information on this topic as its not something normally discussed in the forums I frequent for reading.
Any thoughts, you have some (what brand, how they fit, etc) or you know someone with them, ETC... PLEASE SHARE in this thread.

I got mine made at a truck stop in illinois, did it super cheap and had all the fittings and stuff. just told them what fittings I needed and the lengths of the line.
cost me a total of $40 for the whole set, can't beat that shit.

I remember with AJ's hatch it was around $200 to do stainless braided lines throughout the WHOLE engine bay(all front hardlines convertred)
Bier Brothers has the line, just cut and make 'em.

only problem with making them Andy is idk if people know how to do it properly. its acctually a very tedious project to under take. if you don't set them correctly you can mess up the line, and it could leak.
You can talk shit all you want! eventually noone will care about your input. :yo:

That was considered as an option, and partially why I am posting this thread as well. I gather from the responses here, that the aftermarket line kits fit pretty well and the person who said they fit horribly was not accurate... however as I suspect I can do it myself for cheaper.andyjt;222945 wrote:I remember with AJ's hatch it was around $200 to do stainless braided lines throughout the WHOLE engine bay(all front hardlines convertred)

Very true, I fortunately have experience with making up lines from friends and they can check my work.kra95civic;222965 wrote:only problem with making them Andy is idk if people know how to do it properly. its acctually a very tedious project to under take. if you don't set them correctly you can mess up the line, and it could leak.

i've had good luck with Russell lines. put them on roughly 10 cars over the years.
