Tein question

Post by 02Type-S »

So I can pick up a set of used Tein S-Techs for $50 off my buddys EK. I know they will fit my DC2, but will the lower spring rate affect anything? I Don't think there is much of a weight diff between a Civic and an Integra.

Just a better ride?

its only like an inch drop but any drop will throw off suspension geometry. also if you throw those springs on stock struts you will blow them out eventually and ride quality will be deminished. :dumb:

I know all that, i was just asking if going with the Teins for a civic would have any adverse effect as opposed to going with the Integra springs.

See thats the thing, they aren't the same. Thats why I was asking if it would be alright to use.

But from what I understand, they are interchangeable, so I was just wondering if it would have a negative effect since the rates ARE different, or if if would just provide a smoother ride.

traded my enkeis for meshies, 96-00 ex si knuckles, and a full size spare
enkeis would not fit with si knuckles with em i have -.6 camber i was at -3.7 and the enkeis were rubbin on the fender also the rear was rubbing on the fender and the inside lol wide wheels ftw and l

funny story actually after i took off the knuckles i jokingly asked him you wanna trade wheels he was like yeah now i can use short nuts that show off my studs and and impact socket
