a dot stamp does not mean they are street legal.v8this;218741 wrote:i am well aware of the differences... But imo a radial has a dot number and can be legally ran on the street... And if the op wants the best tire to hook on the street hands down the m and h tire is the best.. Again my opinion from years of testing on fwd... With more then 200 horse..

A street legal tire has a DOT stamp. Mickey Thompson ET streets are DOT tires but far from being a radial...

Actually, the DOT stamp DOES mean they are legal, Mike. Stands for Department Of Transportation....

they say dot but also say not for highway use. there was a huge gripe about this a couple years ago in some racing series about what was and what wasnt actually street legal. i think it was the m&h which didnt say not for highway use on them.

except theyre 26" and bias ply absolutely sucks for driving around on the street. thats good for you that your car hardly gets driven on the street but mine on the other hand gets ALOT of use on the street...weekly.96civic cr-v;218754 wrote:best bang for your buck is the M&H (BIAS PLY) DOT tire. end of story
