I am well aware of the differences... but imo a radial has a dot number and can be legally ran on the street... and if the op wants the best tire to hook on the street hands down the m and h tire is the best.. again my opinion from years of testing on fwd... with more then 200 horse..RyanA;218738 wrote:Do you people not know the difference between a bias ply tire and a drag radial? Obviously NOT. They are called drag RADIALs for a reason. Because they are RADIALs. M&H are bias ply. All of you in here saying you are not new to the game, OG gangster racers and all that crap don't know the difference between bias ply and radial?
Wow. Google it people.

unfortunately mike is correct here... the 24.5 slick is the best tire for anyone not in the 8s... i switch to the 26 in slick and ended up breaking axle due to the power wasnt there to get them turning over hard enough..mike93hatch;218737 wrote:you run 8 seconds in the 1/4 ???
the 26 SLICK is very hard on the drivetrain period...
But the tire crv is talking about and me included is NOT a slick and again for any competition or just wanting the car to hook on a set of DOT tires... the m and h tires has my vote..
