they are better than any other drag radial. yea your size is what is keeping you from losing traction so much because it fucks with your gearing which is actually making your car just as slow (but with traction) than it did on the tires that spun.

no way i would run a 26" tire EVER unless i was making over 600whp.

LOL, yeah nice. Guess you don't realize that Mike paints the highway at speeds way higher than 80? What time have you run in your car? I know it should be a beast with the setup you have.

BTW, see my avatar. That is about what a 28" tall tire would look like on a Civic. No, it does not have any traction problems on the street and it's fast enough to blow the duct tape right off of the car.

correct me if im wrong, arent dr's designed to be heated to get them sticky? so they are designed to grip at a hotter temp than your everyday street tire, wouldnt it be wiser to purchase a high performance sticky street tire? one that is actually designed to operate and grip at lower temps? i cant see doing a big smoky burn out to heat the tires at the red light before you try to rape some douche in daddies mustang...

Kind of but not really. A drag radial is not just rubber compound. It's also sidewall compliance and belt construction. AutoX type tires have steel belts and are very rigid on the sidewall. DR's have pretty flimsy sidewalls to help absorb the initial shock, etc.

7.4 is good for about a mid 11. Not bad.
