Bolt stuck that goes through Shock and LCA

Hi, I have a bolt that is stuck, it is going through my rear shock and LCA, its a long one. It is stuck really good, and not budging, the end that is nearest the rear bumper broke off, and the rest is stuck.

My question, is what are some methods of trying to remove it? Any input will help, Thanks. Especially if you have had this same problem.

Well, if you already broke the head of the bolt off, go ahead and snap the nut off of the shock. Once that is done, you can either drill that side of the bolt out or cut it off and slide the shock off of the bushing. You may be able to also drive it out with a punch and BFH or an air hammer...

Well we tried the air hammer, didnt do anything, we are going to try to cut it off, and drill it out. I just wanted some input or personal experience with this. Thanks ryan.

take a breaker bar break off the welded nut not too hard and pull it out get some hardware from ace to replace it
if you cant get it off i can come over and do it if you are replacing the strut you dont need to replace the nut
i may have a spare bolt but i think its a motor mount bolt

Had the same thing happen to me. Had to break the welded nut off and use a sawzall to cut the bolt between the trailing arm and LCA. I ended up having to replace the LCA because the bolt was so seezed in there. But LCA's are cheap as hell. Good luck.
