2.0 Vs 2.2

I know they switched the engines mainly for a more steady power and torque(however the hell do yo spell) range. were they having problems with the 2.0? I had an 01 with around 50 k on it and the only thing I noticed was that vtec would cut out on the highway every now and then. i dunno I just thought Id add to the forum and to see if anyone had any imput.

Seems like I remember another S2k owner saying that it could be the vtec solenoid going bad.

they did it for the sheer fact that the added displacement would make the powerband a little more usable.. nothing wrong with the 2.0's they just used that design to make a little more tourque and low to midranged power..
