Function form f2 t1 coilovers

Post by Story Worm »

So my shocks are done for in the prelude and i'm wanting to go lowers so i'm looking at coilovers. I found these on ebay for 630 bucks. I dont know if they are the best or not. has anyone used these before? I'm not trying to spent a lot on my suspension.... if you've seen my car you know why. I just want something that rides smooth and is lowered.

i used the original versions of the Type I's on my ep3 almost 2 years ago. for the price, you cant really beat them. the only thing with the ones i see pictured is they dont offer the dampening adjustment, which i thought all F&F coilovers offered. Call them up and see if they can get close to the ebay price. They normally will just give a you a flat number shipped. Their number is 626-407-0015

i love my type II's and you can get swift springs for them if the spring rate is too soft

Bill had the first generation of F&F's both type 1's and type II's were adjustable, second and third gens only the type II's are dampening adjustable

the type 1 first gens are for sure, thats what i originally had on the EP.

tein basics arent that great for the money, if you are going to spend the extra money $$$$, dont waste it on the basics

agreed basics are worthless imo if youre going to get teins get super streets or flex's but they dont have very good height adjustment ranges
