I was putting my front suspension back together and went to put the brake pads in, which i figured would be the easiest thing of all i've had to do, and the pads don't fit. i was told the front and rear suspension was off a 97 integra when i bought it to swap onto my hatch. everything else i've bought for them, rotors/ball joints/bearings has all fit fine. and the rear pads fit fine. but the fronts aren't the right shape. am i just going crazy here? here is a pic:
on the left is the new hawk hps pad, the right is the old pad that came out:
clearly they are not the same shape, and the pad doesn't want to fit at all, mostly becasue the ends are too big. i looked it up and the model number seems right (HB245F.631). wtf is going on? anybody have any ideas?
