well i just spent the last couple of hours banging in some more. i've only got the 3 to remove from the rear lca and then i need to press all 6 into the rear lcas. i'm pretty sure i can get the last 6 in, but getting the last 3 out might suck. is your press a hydraulic press? if you think you could help me get them out/in that would be awsome.5thgen;176228 wrote:I have a generic press if you want me to press them in.

when i installed my Energy Suspension bushings on my rear LCA's i had to cut those littler sleeves out... i dont know if you have already done that, but take a hack saw and feed the blade through the hole in the LCA, and cut about 1 mm deep into the sleeve, this should go all the way through the sleeve if not close. then take a punch and hammer the sleeve out, its very time consuming, but the bushings go in a lot better, also make sure you use any grease they have supplied you with, otherwise they will squeak. the bushings should g in fairly easy after the sleeves are out.
hope this helps

thanks, i saw some write ups on guys cutting the rubber out, then cutting slits in the sleeves to pry them out. i may end up doing this if i can't get to a press. as for installing them, they're not ES urethane ones, they're hard rubber ones (from PIC). so they have the oem style inner and outter metal sleeves. no grease required to prevent any kind of squeaking, just a press to get these damn things in!J_Jay_B;176765 wrote:when i installed my Energy Suspension bushings on my rear LCA's i had to cut those littler sleeves out... i dont know if you have already done that, but take a hack saw and feed the blade through the hole in the LCA, and cut about 1 mm deep into the sleeve, this should go all the way through the sleeve if not close. then take a punch and hammer the sleeve out, its very time consuming, but the bushings go in a lot better, also make sure you use any grease they have supplied you with, otherwise they will squeak. the bushings should g in fairly easy after the sleeves are out.
