2 questions about lugs and eg lca bolt
First is there any advantage to using open ended lug nuts? And im putting coil overs on my eg and the bolt in the rear on the lca is a bitch to get off. Which i here is a common problem. How should i get it out and go about doing this?

As far as tge LCA bolts, Search. I just covered this not even a week ago in another thread. I'm not typing it all out again. The only real reason to run open ended lugs is when you have extended studs.1389evo;173758 wrote:First is there any advantage to using open ended lug nuts? No, Rob drives a Toyota Camry... another guy at his work drives the Eg hatch.
I told you as well to spray the shit out of the bolts with P.B. Blaster as well otherwise buy new Lower Control Arms and new bolts for when they snap on you

if i remember right some classes in drag racing require you to have extended lugs to ensure the wheels stay on and when you use open extended lugs you should use openeded lug nuts cause the short caped off ones wont work
gudg racing you're never gonna catch me!!

yeah it pretty much just allows you to have more threads so they stay on better not worth it on a normal street car1389evo;173785 wrote:The lugs thing was completly random i just saw some at work and wondered why we had open ended lugs
